When you think of Nashville, you may picture cowboy boots, country music, and Southern charm – all of those things are true! However, Nashville is also a thriving city with urban sophistication, chic style, and even some industrial vibes. Suppose you are planning a wedding in the Nashville area and looking for the perfect spot for a sleek and contemporary event. In that case, you must check out The Bridge Building, a riverfront venue in downtown historic Nashville with spectacular views of the city skyline, rooftop patios, and customizable spaces that can transform into the wedding of your dreams. Keep reading on to find out why I am obsessed with this venue!!
The Bridge Building’s history began in 1908 when it was first built as an office building for the internationally recognized Nashville Bridge Company. While most of the historic buildings in the area were demolished when the city’s new NFL stadium arrived, the Bridge Building was the only structure spared.
In 2012, the building was purchased by the amazing Infinity Hospitality Group and completely renovated, honoring and restoring the original architecture and bringing modern-day infrastructure, safety, and amenities to the space. Today, it has received recognition as one of the “greenest” buildings in the world!
The Bridge Building has a variety of incredible spaces that are totally customizable for you to create the unforgettable wedding of your dreams. Their Infinity Hospitality team will work with you to determine which spaces work best for your unique wedding.
You can say “I do” on one of their riverfront patios with jaw-dropping views of the Nashville skyline behind you for your ceremony. Or you can choose to exchange vows indoors in one of their event rooms, like the Cumberland Space (which is also a fabulous spot for a reception), covered in floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the river, complete with chic industrial vibes and plenty of ways to add your unique touches (think draperies, grand florals, and greenery hanging from the rafters.)
The Rooftop Observatory is fabulous for a ceremony or intimate reception. It’s a tented rooftop that you can dress up with elegant string lighting or statement chandeliers. The drapery walls can either open to reveal spectacular Nashville views or close to keep your guests warm and comfortable (don’t worry, there are still transparent walls in the tent, so you’ll get that skyline backdrop for your vows!
Be sure to contact the event team to talk numbers and what each space can accommodate – or rent out the entire venue to fit a guest list of up to 1,200!!
The Bridge Building’s incredible location and access to some of the best skyline views in Nashville make it ideal for chic photos with a more urban vibe. We’ll use some of the building’s sleek exteriors and wander the surrounding property for elegant, refined backdrops and plenty of Nashville’s most unique city features like bridges, sculptures, and of course, the waterfront. Its style and cosmopolitan sophistication are perfect for any Nashville-loving couple.
The Bridge Building provides event planning and design assistance through Infinity Hospitality Group, so you’ll get advice and recommendations from the people who know the space best! Its fantastic location is also walkable to many nearby hotels, making it convenient for guests traveling out of town.
Their in-house culinary team will create a spectacular handcrafted menu for your wedding day, providing you with the highest quality food and a fantastic Nashville dining experience. The Bridge Building also offers custom bar packages to suit your needs, too!
